Biography

St. Peter was a fisherman in Galilee when Jesus called him. Impulsive, generous, and sometimes fragile, he walked with the Lord, confessed his faith, and also knew the pain of denying the Master.

After the Resurrection, Peter received from Christ the mission to strengthen his brothers. His life reminds us that holiness does not come from self-sufficiency, but from being forgiven, raised up, and sent to serve.
