Biography
Francis Xavier was a companion of St. Ignatius of Loyola and one of the first Jesuits. Sent on mission, he traveled great distances to proclaim the Gospel in different lands and cultures.
His life manifests apostolic zeal, courage, and availability. Mission was not empty adventure, but a concrete response to the desire to make Christ known and loved.
