Biography
St. Dominic was born in Spain and lived in a time of serious challenges for the transmission of faith. His response united study, evangelical poverty, community life, and preaching.
He founded the Order of Preachers, known as the Dominicans, to announce the truth of Christ with clarity and charity. His life shows that sound doctrine must be born from prayer and compassion for people.
Dominic inspires us to study the faith, speak responsibly, and pray for those far from God before arguing or judging.
