Lord, I place this decision before You. Remove haste, pride, and fear from me. Help me see the facts, listen to good counsel, and choose what is just, prudent, and according to Your will. Amen.

How to pray calmly
Find a possible place of silence, make the Sign of the Cross, read the prayer slowly, and pause on the phrases that speak most to your heart. There is no need to rush: a brief prayer made with attention is worth more than many words spoken without presence.
